Hi!
I am so thrilled you are here and will be coming to see me for your hair services. I am the owner of Bellagente Salon and an educator for Davines. My goal is to make every person who comes through the doors of Bellagente feel welcome and beautiful. With over 19 years of industry knowledge and experience, I will do my very best to meet your hair needs. I specialize in color and curly cutting. I use cruelty free, sustainable, low carbon footprint products by Davines on all my clients. Keeping the integrity of the hair and the earth is very important to me. I love to educate clients while in the chair and to give tips and tricks to help you care for your hair at home between our appointments. I am a dog mama of two mini schnauzers, Ziggy and Zorro. They are always with me at the shop. They love to give and get love. I am a lover of all shopping, antiquing, plants, crafting, cooking, organizing and trying new and fun restaurants and cocktails. I work hard to make sure all clients always feel heard and welcome while making them feel confident and beautiful. Can’t wait to see you soon!

Our Story
A lot of people ask how Bellagente got to where it is or what the “story” is. So I thought I’d share it with you. I have been in the industry now for over 19 years. I come from a family of entrepreneurs and knew with time I would follow in their footsteps. When I decided to open my own salon back in 2012, I thought long and hard about what I wanted to name it. I knew I wanted the name to be Italian, as I am of Italian descent. I wanted the name to write and sound beautiful along with connect with anyone. In Italian “Bella Gente” is two words, and means beautiful people. I decided it would only be fitting to put the two words together and create one word, Bellagente, and that is where “Bellagente Salon Inc” came from.
I have mainly worked in the Milford area for the majority of my career. I quickly outgrew my rental space (my first location of Bellagente) in 2014. I started the hunt for the perfect spot. I literally felt like goldilocks. Every opportunity I had I went searching for space. The space couldn’t be too far from where I already was. The size needed to be bigger but not so big I would drown. It needed to have charm, character and history. It took 2 full years of searching before my building came on the market. In July 2016, my husband and I purchase 207 Main Street Milford MA. As soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect and belonged to me. From the brick front, to the original skylights of the early 1900’s, to the story of the building itself. It needed updates and someone to showcase what was hidden. A dash of this and sprinkle of that Sasha flair but I knew it would be perfect. I had doubters, some people could not see my vision. And that was ok. The previous owner had her vision and it worked fabulous for her for many many successful years, but my plan was to gut it, overhaul it and make it shine bright and stand out. I knew it would come to fruition and it absolutely did! With a lot of blood, sweat and tears my dream became a vision, the vision a reality and on January 3rd 2017 we opened Bellagente at its new home and location in downtown Milford.
Bellagente thrived successfully at 207 Main Street for 7 years. After a wonderful journey of ups, downs, along with spiritual growth I then decided it was time for a change. Anyone who knows me knows I am always doing a project or looking to make things better and more fluid. I turned inward and started working on my personal journey of health, growth and family. I decided after 7 years of residing m business at 207 Main that I was ready to sell my building and put an addition on my house to work from home. At the young age of 37, I decided that it was time to not just focus on my career but to work on my health (mentally and physically) and work on growing my family. The best way to do that was to make some changes and working from home will allow that, I parted ways with my building in April of 2023 and my new studio space will be open in July of 2023! I have found that life is about growing, reflecting, adapting, appreciating and loving. Working out of my studio space will allow Bellagente and myself to thrive in a really awesome way.
The energy in the salon be as positive, inviting and comfortable as I could possibly make it. The atmosphere is welcoming; energetic at times yet soothing as well and happy. The feel of the shop is chic with a modern twist and cozy. We strive to make all clients feel comfortable and special while they are receiving services. Our goal is to make all our clients feel and look their very best, because at Bellagente Salon “You Deserve to Feel Beautiful!”
I chose to exclusively carry Davines in the salon for a few reasons. Davines is a family owned company based out of Parma, Italy. I knew I wanted to have an exclusive Italian line within the salon to go hand and hand with my ancestry. I also wanted a sustainable brand, which Davines is through and through. They are a B Corporation. They are result driven with minimal to no harsh chemicals in their ingredients. Their standards are far superior to products produced in the United States as their guidelines and ethics are much more strict. I became so passionate about Davines, its products, what it stands for, how the company is trying everyday to change the world for the better that I became an educator for them. Not only do we carry their entire hair color system, and hair care system, but we also carry their skin care line, [comfort zone]. Their attention to detail in every little thing they do and their philosophy hits close to home for me. Davines compliments and makes Bellagente unique.
I’m thrilled to start a new adventure and chapter of my life, career and business. I’m very excited to watch Bellagente and clientele grow into what I’ve been dreaming and planning for.. I look forward to going to work every single day, seeing clients and making them feel their very best. I have a passion for hair, I love what I do because I love to make people look and feel beautiful!
